Mary Kay Fischer became the City Attorney on June 3, 2017. She has over 28 years of experience as a municipal attorney and a presiding municipal court judge. Most recently, she had been the City Attorney for the City of Angleton and the City of City Corpus Christi and the Presiding Municipal Court Judge for the City of Bryan.
Fischer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Administration from Texas State University, formerly known as Southwest Texas State University. She also has a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston.
