Vidcode Platform

Vidcode
a free resource through the library

Learn the JavaScript programming language at home through digital effect projects.  Vidcode is a coding platform for adults and students 3rd grade and up.

Learn to create and modify video and images, adding filters, text, and other graphics to create slideshows, memes, games and more through self-guided projects.  Save and share the results.  During the creative process you learn the fundamentals of computer science and web programming using a drag and drop environment that quickly moves into text-based programming.  As projects become more complex, the lessons cover complex object properties with user interactions, creating games and simulations.

Click here to access the library's Vidcode resource, on the next page click on Student, and then click on “Sign up with an email” at the bottom of that page.
