Warming Center

The Friendswood Library is open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. as a Warming Center. No animals are allowed. Masks are required. The City is not providing food or blankets, just a place for our residents without power to get warm.

Municipal Court

Friendswood Municipal Court will not hold any pre-trial conferences or appearances on Wed., Feb. 17. All cases will be reset and you will be given notice of a new date. You may email the Court at court@friendswood.com. 

Please Stay Home

Road conditions are improving but we continue to ask you to stay home. If you do have to go out, please be cautious and drive slow. Many stop lights are out because of the power outages. Please treat all non-functioning stop lights as stop signs and make a complete stop. 

Pipes

As temperatures rise, pipes that have ruptured due to freezing will leak. Please be mindful
to limit damage to your property. Conserve water as much as possible. Broken water lines will further impact the City’s water system.
