Spring Sparkle 2021

Spring Sparkle, Sat., April 10 

Bring your tree limbs, grass clippings, wood, metal, appliances, and plastic to the Keep Friendswood Beautiful Spring Sparkle at Centennial Park. The event is for Friendswood residents (bring ID).
Shredding will be offered (limit 200 pounds per vehicle) until noon or when the shredding truck is full.
No hazardous waste, including tires, paint, batteries, or oil is accepted.

Cancelling the Election Scheduled for May 1, 2021

A General Election was scheduled to be held on May 1, 2021 to elect a Mayor, Councilmember for Position No. 1, and Councilmember for Position No. 3. At the City Council meeting on March 1, 2021, an ordinance was approved cancelling the election and declaring elected the unopposed candidates for Mayor to be Mike Foreman, City Council Position 1 to be Steve Rockey, and City Council Position 3 to be Trish Hanks.
