Santa in the Park

The event we are all waiting for and we are so happy to bring back after last year’s cancellation, HomeTown Bank and Keep Friendswood Beautiful Santa in the Park! We will be bringing in over 50 arts and craft vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, over 10,000 lights and 10,000 lbs. of snow along with the Chamber of Commerce Lighted Christmas Parade and end the night with the traditional Tree lighting in Stevenson Park with a spectacular fireworks show. The event is 3-8pm, $10 wristbands for children's activities will be sold the day of the event, attendance to the event is free.
Our title sponsor, HomeTown Bank of Friendswood has sponsored Friendswood holiday events for more than a decade. A big thank you to them and our other sponsors for helping us make this trail and Santa in the Park possible and of course keeping the Christmas spirit alive in the City of Friendswood.

Parking and Traffic
Chamber of Commerce Lighted Parade is 6pm, traveling from Heritage Drive (Dunn Bros) to Stevenson Park. During the time of the parade FM 518 will be shutdown in both directions from FM 2351 to Whispering Pines Dr./Friendswood-Link Road, beginning at approximately 5:50 PM.
Traffic on two lanes of FM 518 between Whispering Pines and Winding Way, will be shut down do to construction repairs to the Cowards Creek bridge. We highly suggest using alternate routes to Stevenson Park for the event.
Wristbands
Wristbands are $10 each, ages 2 and under are free. Adults need a wristband if participating in activities list: Snow hill, face painting, balloon art, caricatures, petting zoo and Keep Friendswood Beautiful pictures with a Fairy and glitter tattoos (3-6pm).
Ticket booth is located between the Christmas tree and the Gazebo, we are able to take cash or credit card. Only card not accepted is American Express. A 2.5% convenience fee will be apply for credit card transaction. No ATM onsite. You are able to purchase wristbands at the Parks and Recreation Department at City Hall in advance, office is open M-F 8am-5pm.
