Jewelry Theft Suspects Identified as Romanian Nationals

The Friendswood Police Department has successfully identified and obtained warrants for the male and female suspects involved in a jewelry theft that occurred at Brian’s Jewelry on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at approximately 7:20 PM. With the assistance of a Facebook tip and information provided from partnering law enforcement agencies, detectives were able to identify both suspects. The male suspect was identified as Victor Tibi Sava (AKA Victor Tibi Aparaschivei), age 32. The female suspect was identified as Arada Ursulescu, age 45. Both suspects are Romanian nationals who are part of a Romanian criminal enterprise engaging in transnational organized crime. Both suspects have engaged in jewelry distraction thefts in Texas, California, Colorado, Kansas, and the United Kingdom. Both suspects have been charged with Felony Theft out of Harris County for the theft at Brian’s Jewelry located in the 3100 Block of FM 528.
