Friendswood PD Responds to Incident Involving Barricaded Suspect

At approximately 12:20 AM, the Friendswood Police Department was notified of a pursuit involving multiple Harris County Agencies entering the city. During that time, Friendswood received a 9-1-1 call from a resident in the 4400 block of Peridot Lane indicating that an unknown person had entered their home and they needed help. 

Shortly after arriving on scene, family members were safely evacuated from the home.

Friendswood officers and multiple Harris County agencies then entered the residence and located the individual hiding inside. Bennie Bruce Stoves IV, 30, was taken into custody by the Houston Police Department.

It was later determined that Stoves is related to members of the residence.
