Travel Advisory

Friendswood recommends that residents stay off the streets unless travel is essential. A hard freeze is forecast tonight which may worsen driving conditions as snow melt re-freezes. An extreme cold warning has been issued by the National Weather Services from 6pm Tuesday to 9am Wednesday. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 to 15 degrees are possible.

Trash & Recycling

Trash pick up and recycling will not be operating on Wednesday January 22, 2025 due to weather and roadway conditions.

Municipal Court

Friendswood Municipal Court will be closed and has canceled jury trials that were to be held on Wednesday, January 22^nd. All jurors are released from their jury duty, however you may receive a rescheduled jury summons In the future. For further information, You may email the court at court@friendswood.com.
