From May 4 to May 10, 2025, the Friendswood Community and Economic Development Committee is proudly hosting Small Business Week, a community-wide celebration recognizing the vital role small businesses play in the local economy. In partnership with Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, Friendswood Rotary Club, Small Business Development Center, Workforce Solutions, and Friends of Downtown Friendswood Association this week is packed with valuable events aimed at empowering small businesses.

Enjoy a free coffee, connecting with other businesses, and a proclamation presentation by Mayor Mike Foreman. This event is sponsored by Frost Bank.

Wednesday, May 7 - Programs: Making Your Business Stand Out

“Marketing Strategies with Impact & Style”, led by Jess Clements of JCMM Social. There will be a break for lunch, followed by”People-Centric Development & Business Culture”, featuring Laura Seifert of Yes., Lauren Ambeau of FISD, and Lisa Kinsey of Kinsey Management.
