Memorial Day Ceremony 2025

Join us on May 26th, at 9am at the Veteran's Memorial monument next to Friendswood City Hall (910 S Friendswood Drive), for the City of Friendswood's annual Memorial Day Ceremony. This year’s program includes an invocation by Chuck Turner of Mary Queen Catholic Church, the National Anthem performed by The AcaBellas from Friendswood High School Choir, and a POW/MIA presentation by Tom Christ of Rolling Thunder. Our special guest speaker will be Captain Reid Wiseman of the U.S. Navy. The ceremony will also feature musical tributes, including a bagpipe melody and the playing of Taps. This year, attendees are requested to bring their own lawn chairs for seating. This is a change from previous years, so please plan accordingly.
