Beginning January 5, 2026, your neighborhood’s trash and recycling collection days may change as we update service routes across the city. Stay up to date with your pick up schedule, scan the QR code above to verify your collection days or go to the Waste Connections Website. Santa in the Park this SATURDAY!

Join us for Santa in the Park, presented by Keep Friendswood Beautiful and Hometown Bank, this Saturday, December 13, from 3:00–8:00 PM at Stevenson Park. This festive, family-friendly event will feature the lighting of our new 40-foot Christmas tree, 40,000 pounds of snow, a fireworks display, a holiday market with local vendors, food vendors, local dance and musical performances, inflatable attractions, and so much more holiday cheer for everyone to enjoy.

Christmas Parade Traffic Information

Starting at 5:45 PM, FM 518 will be closed in both directions from FM 2351 to Whispering Pines Dr./Friendswood Link Rd. The parade should last approximately 45 minutes. If you wish to travel between 2351 and FM 528 during that time, please use Sunset Dr. or Blackhawk Blvd. as alternate routes.

Wristbands are $15 each, ages 2 and under are free. Wristbands are only needed for the activities listed below:
