Aqua Zumba uses invigorating dance moves in the pool to offer a fun but challenging workout. This is a low impact, high energy exercise.
Aqua Fit is a water-based fitness class that combines, cardio, strength, and flexibility exercises. The resistance of the water tones muscles and improves endurance, while being gentle on the joints. This is a low-impact, full-body workout suitable for all fitness levels.
This class is designed for individuals with special needs, which is open to family, friends, and caretakers! It will incorporate a variety of cardio, strength, and dance exercises that are led by instructors from Special Strong, Southeast Houston.
Lap Swimming
Lap swimming is available during open swim throughout the summer season. A designated lane for lap swimmers stays in place at all times. More lanes may be made available based on needs and aquatics program schedules.
Lap swimming may be done outside of the summer season ONLY during Aqua Zumba class times. Lap swimming in the off-season will require a Fitness Punchcard or daily fitness fee.
