Election Information
The City of Friendswood shall contract with Galveston County for election services related to its General and Special elections to be held on May 4, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of electing a Mayor, and Councilmembers Position Nos. One (1) and Three (3) and to vote for or against Proposition 1 related to the reauthorization of the City's street maintenance local sales and use tax for another four years. The ballot language will be set forth substantially in the forms listed below:

All election notices are posted to the City's website and notice boards at City Hall and all formal actions related to elections are conducted and posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.

POLLING LOCATIONS:
The City of Friendswood is located in two counties Harris County and Galveston County. A resident must vote in the county in which they reside.
