Teen Leadership Program (TLP)

TLC (1)

The Friendswood Teen Leadership Program (TLP) is designed to give high school students the opportunity to explore their community on a deeper level. Participants will be introduced to the many facets that make Friendswood unique—including local government, education, city departments, businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations.

This program aims to cultivate informed, engaged citizens and future leaders by offering behind-the-scenes experiences, discussions with decision-makers, and hands-on learning opportunities. Through these monthly sessions, students will build a greater understanding of how their city functions and how they can positively impact their community now and in the future.
